Year 6 were lucky enough to have a return visit from the Crucial Crew team on 20th November. This was just to check that none of us had forgotten all the important safety advice we had been given earlier in the year. We were given special remote controls which we used to show our answers. Everyone really enjoyed it and the team from Crucial Crew were really impressed with our behaviour and our knowledge.

We visited the village of Eyam on 16th October. We took Miss Linacre and Mrs Khares and had a fabulous day out. We looked at the museum and walked to the plague cottages and then the graveyard. As if this wasn’t enough, were lucky enough to see inside the church. This visit really helped us to understand how the plague affected many small English villages like Eyam

We have already started the new academic year well by being the first class to look after (or to be looked after by) Birchy. He has had a busy week, having visited the Whitworth Art Gallery and travelled on 2 number 50 buses.
